Formsteel New Build Subsidy

From PhD qualified engineers, to those that have worked in some of the largest factories in the world. Our software developers are no slugs either, with extensive knowledge and expertise gained across many industrial sectors, both here in good old New Zealand and internationally.

Our sweet spot is large buildings. And the friendly talented bunch of people that we are, we combine as a team to deliver outstanding results on your large-scale projects. Competing with small time shed builders really isn’t our thing, but we can if you want the Rolls Royce of sheds!

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Combine innovation & hard graft, with a unique customer focus, and you have Alex. Serving as a Business Development Manager at Formsteel, Alex thrives on the responsibility of understanding the customer needs, and then advising them through the process, adding value every step of the way. Since Alex has been with the company, he has quickly developed impressive skills in navigating his way through large scale, high dollar value projects across the regions. Ask Alex about the famous wave breaks around Taranaki, because that’s where you’ll find him when he’s not at work!

Mitchell Whitehouse

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Mitchell has a genuine desire to understand the aspirations of each person he works with. In Business Development Mitchell adapts his knowledge to serving Formsteel’s valued building partners, end users, specifiers and investors. The insights and experience he brings to any building project discussion are always valued by clients. A foundation of faith and family values underpin Mitchell’s work ethic, openness and empathy, and when not working he will be enjoying time with his wife and daughter. Where possible, that will be on the sunny beaches of Northland, with an occasional gin and tonic and BBQ in tow.

Eugénie Herd

CUSTOMER SERVICE/ SALES SUPPORT

Eugénie sets the standard when it comes to helping people plan, optimise, and launch sales at Formsteel, as well as assisting with your general customer enquiries. Working alongside the Sales Team as a Sales Support person, Eugénie also manages the Customer Service side of our company. If you are looking at smaller scale sales, quoting, or just need some insight into how we can help with your upcoming project, Eugénie is the one to take your call. While Formsteel is her primary job and function by day, Eugénie is an avid lover of the great outdoors, making the most of what the beautiful Taranaki region has to offer.

John has worked in Marketing & Design for over 20 years across a range of industries in New Zealand, UK and Ireland. He specialises in understanding what customers really want and value, through extensive industry and product research. He is in his happy place using the insights to build & implement marketing strategies that drive fast growth. Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying the great New Zealand outdoors with the family.

As Chief Operating Officer, he brings a wealth of skill and experience in enabling business transformation through strategy development and deployment. Daniel is known for his passion for building great business cultures that engage top talent to deliver great things. His belief and determination are to develop high-performance teams that make a difference in people’s lives. With a clear vision, mission and values, combined with the perfect amount of leadership, anything is possible. His most important role is inspiring his 3 daughters to follow their dreams with courage and make a difference.

Joanne Slingsby

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Having worked in manufacturing for around almost 23 years in the United Kingdom & New Zealand, Joanne brings a wealth of knowledge to the Formsteel team. Refining production processes to improve quality and output is where Joanne adds significant value. Combined with a big focus on health & safety, you will most likely find Joanne planning the weekly production workloads to ensure each Formsteel project runs efficiently every time. While working full-time, Joanne achieved qualifications in both Mechanical Engineering & Business Management.

SALES & MARKETING

Jamie is an experienced business executive with 20 years of expertise in the B2B and commercial sectors. Having held a range of senior roles across several businesses, he has built an excellent skill set in both sales and project managing large scale contracts. Jamie’s approach is about building long-lasting partnerships, where he can help clients solve their challenges across a range of small, medium to large sized building projects. Outside of the office, Jamie loves the adrenaline rush of motor- sports and generally anything that goes fast.
